“Forty seven subscribers,” he said, impressed, “soon to be forty eight!”
“You don’t have to” I said.
“Do you want me to subscribe?” he asked.
“If you want to,” I was very non-committal. It’d be nice, but I wouldn’t beg for the follow.
“But you can sub to me any time, darling” I added as a smirk spread across my lips. Absolutely zero effort to hide any connotations there.
“Sub-scribe“, he was keen to emphasise. He regarded me with a warning tone and I laughed. Hook, line and sinker.
Ladies and gentleman, last night my dearly beloved Wolfie became my 48th subscriber! Quite the contradiction for someone who called himself my “biggest fan” three times in one evening to be so late in the race, but still 😉
Of course, it was me, and I had to torment him and tease him for a while.
“You call it following, I call it stalking,” I said airily, “a question of semantics.”
He sighed. I was in one of my moods last night and he knew he had his hands full, I turfed out two blog posts and I’d done quite a bit of housework yesterday, so I was quite upbeat and jovial. Upbeat and jovial me is usually more than happy to give out a darn good ribbing.
I urged Wolfie to set up a blog of his own but he has no intentions to.
“What would I blog about?” he asked.
“A guide to becoming an adonis male? I suggested coquettishly.
“How to eat pussy like a god” he boasted playfully, I blushed.
“Nah, you shouldn’t plagiarize other bloggers” I warned. I got the Dom stare for my crimes.
Of course, there is another celebration to be had here – this is also my 100th post!
I have been working hard to achieve this goal prior to Saturday. I knew I could do it, and I’m proud of myself that I did. I’m not stopping there of course, but it does give my blog one hell of a foundation to go from when I return from our vacation!
In 100 posts, I’ve loved so much of what I do. Sharing thoughts, experiences, recipes. I love blogging nearly everyday. I love writing, even if, I’ve realised, there is a little work to be done. Some punctuation trips me up sometimes and I’ve read a past post through on a few occasions, only to notice a careless typing error. I’m now making the painstaking process of proof-reading all 100 past blog posts to amend and check any errors. Needless to say, I’ve learned now how useful that little ‘preview’ button can be prior to publishing!
Anyway, I’ve nearly finished my coffee which I lovingly made with real milk. Real, 1%, been-in-the-fridge milk, that my good Sir doesn’t get in his office. Milk which I tentatively added to a coffee that I’ve been drinking while sat on an oh-so-comfortable leather sofa with my feet comfortably reclined.
Oh, to be a “self-important” blogger 😉
Over and out until next time, folks!
Hugs & kinky cuddles,
PS. In case you’re wondering, my good Sir likes to accuse us bloggers of visiting Starbucks and blogging so that we can look important. I don’t know about you, WordPress friends, but I’m not about to take that lying down 😉
