I was recently inspired by this rather old Reddit thread which I stumbled across in which the original poster asked about ASMR in the stomach. If you weren’t aware already, then by definition, ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is normally experienced in the back of the scalp and neck, so this threw a spanner in the works in understanding this phenomenon.
Now, the reason I mention it is because for so long, I’ve assumed that the tingles I get in certain medical situations have been related to kink, but having read this, I’m not so sure. Is it possible that in certain circumstances, ASMR and kink might not be so different, after all?
If you haven’t read my post on my latex glove fetish already, you can find that here, you will soon understand that that I’ve already got a bit of a medical kink thing goin’ on. Now, let me take you back to another moment in my teenage years.
For whatever reason, on this occasion, the doctor was really obsessed with examining my eyes. Moving back and forth with the little light, I could feel myself mesmerized by him. His closeness was arousing, his “okays” and tongue clicks made me tingle every time and yet his movements were almost hypnotic. It was ASMR, but on a whole different level. I was awake, but asleep. I was in a trance. I was submissive and aroused and I was tingling. I was wholly and completely vulnerable to him and captive to the things that he was putting me through. It was immersive and intense. What was that? What did he do?
Quite by chance, a few days ago I was was sorting some bags ready to get on with the packing for our trip. I found two LED torches and checked they worked by pressing the button on them. I’m not sure what possessed me to look into an LED torch and expect anything less than a blinding headache, but I did.
At first came the inevitable pain, but then came that, that feeling. The tingles weren’t in my temples and neck where they usually were, but in my stomach, cheeks and chest.
Had I just hypnotized myself?
For a while, I felt vulnerable. I was sure if my husband saw me, he’d think I’d been smoking a giant doobie. I was gone, completely and utterly away with the fairies. I’d put myself in a trance-like state, completely and utterly unintentionally.
Erotic hypnosis interests me, and yet I refuse to believe that I can be hypnotised in the conventional sense. I’e tried several times and with several different hypnosis videos, all without success.
Pull a pen light on me, though, and it become a whole new kettle of fish.
Have you ever had an experience that was both erotic and hypnotic? I’d be interested to know!
Stay safe and have fun!
Hugs & kinky cuddles,
